Aguachiles El Tamarindo - Oakland

Great spot for some birria tacos. There’s a good amount of seating and parking around the taco truck. This place is cash only with an option for Venmo.

I was there this weekend and the food was horrible, I had fish tacos and the fish seemed like it has been sitting there for a couple of days. It was stale and super salty, I enjoyed the food here before but quality is going down. Customer service was ok, the cashier was rude and condescending--he snatched money from multiple customers and seemed entitled. Based off of these two things I will not be coming back and suggest you go somewhere else where the quality is better.

The food was good. Wish this place had a restaurant as it was cold outside And there was only outdoor seating. I was happy that they had Parking and a bathroom. They didn't accept credit cards but did offer venmo So that was cool. Some outdoor heaters would be nice.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian tacos were yummy.

Very disappointed.. a year ago I came here and was fascinated by the aguachiles rojos. I came into the oakland wanted to make it to this spot. I ordered the aguachiles rojos again, and they looked sad, as if they just make the sauce and all they do is add the cucumbwrs and onions and shrimp on top. Very very disappointed since I went out of my way to come support them again. The ones i tried last year looked like the first photo, todays, was thag sad looking bowl.

Best food I've ever tried the mango habanero Baja fish is really good. Looking for food all around the bay area I'm new so I'll go back
