Ravintola Juureskellari - Nurmaa

What an amazing place of fine cuisine is this small restaurant in the southern Savo forests! Local and seasonal ingredients are combined to taste and see treats. Definitely recommended if you want a quiet culinary pleasure from a hectic summer day.

We ate at the end of the Frisbee golf course. The waiter was nice. As a starter the cod was good There was a white fish dish on the menu, but the white fish had run out so that the fish was replaced by salmon. The price is obviously 35€. I have the lambburger, which contained a French frit, a briochebie and a dry lamb patty. The sauce was about 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise. The guy took the same burger with extra cheese, even the waiter had difficulty distinguishing what Burger had cheese and what not. Steak tasted really good. Two stars when the service was good. I don't recommend it.

The lamb steak was overcooked and dry, the service was somewhat lame, although there were only half a dozen customers in the restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful, but the food ruined the whole thing.
