The Alice Hawthorn - Nun Monkton

This is a gastropub with a nice location. The service is fairly good, and the food is enjoyable; however, I find the prices to be quite steep for what you get.

We dined here on a Thursday evening between 7 and 8 PM, and the dining room was fairly busy. We began our meal with sea bass ceviche and a beetroot salad, followed by ribeye steak and lamb for our main courses. For dessert, we indulged in the cheese board, savarin, and chocolate pudding. Overall, we had a lovely experience. The food was quite delicious at times, and the attentive staff were keen to accommodate us.

We had a fantastic meal; it was incredibly flavorful. They truly deserve a Michelin star!

The food is excellent, and the surroundings are beautifully comfortable, creating a delightful atmosphere.

Yes fabulous food, great wines , great price too loved it all. Very Covid safe!
