Vovo Telo - Norwood iNingizimu Afrika

Vovo Telo has long been a family favourite so when we needed to choose an intimate setting with a diverse menu and consistent quality to celebrate my mom's birthday we knew exactly where to go. I recommend the poached egg and chicken livers croissant with the salted caramel latte.

Great food, great atmosphere and great value for money, the portion sizes are magnificent. And the pastries, oh my gosh, so good.

Nice and pleasant. I enjoyed my food. Though a few items from their drinks menu was not available.

Can't remember what this salad was, something like a honey mustard chicken salad. Was okay. The sour dough though, was so good I bought the whole loaf back home! They also have something of novelty which was coffee in a cone, nothing really special, it was just coffee, in a cone. The insides of the cone did get soggy after awhile so you might want to be mindful if you order that. Service was also relatively good. The place was pretty with plants and a little water fountain.

I was there 2 weeks ago and it's wonderful. Their hot chocolate tastes like a warm hug. The staff is generous and helpful. Their prices are affordable and the space accommodates kids as well. The atmosphere is great and allows you to just relax and be. I'll definitely be coming back.
