Bonsai Cafe - Norwich

The Bonsai café always has a great customer focused service for all it's customers, with good food and drinks.

Great coffee, great food and great service. Super handy that they do deliveries too and the food is still just as good

Come here at least weekly for my sons karate lessons which are very busy! Cafe does some really tasty pizzas sausage rolls. All reasonably priced and the girls in there give top service. Would get a cuppa something to eat for my son every week but unfortunately can’t as a lot of the parents take up the tables even if they aren’t eating sadly. Although for such a confined space it would be hard to sort it out.

Visited here for the first time today and I was thoroughly impressed! I had a panini and the portion sizes were huge I couldn't believe it! Really generous! This made a huge difference to most other places where value is not as good. I really appreciated the fact that you could have paninis made fresh for you, as in so many places they come with cheese which I don't eat. I opted for the ham and onion chutney one minus the cheese and it was packed full of ham! Nice and hot too. You don't tend to get onion chutney in too many places so this was nice to see on the menu. I also really liked the fact you could choose which 2 sides you got, and you get 2 rather than just 1 like most places! I always want to have coleslaw and crisps but most places only let you have one, so I was really glad that wasn't the case here. The coleslaw was really nice too! It was also great that the pot of tea was served ina china tea pot rather than the stainless steel tea pots you get in a lot of places nowadays, this holds the heat much better. The cafe is very clean and vibrant with a nice feel to it. The 2 girls serving behind the counter were both friendly and I am looking forward to visiting here again and will be recommending this cafe to others! I'm very glad I tried this place :

Although small, the Bonsai Cafe is a lovely little cafe for snacks and light bites. We’ve visited several times while watching our son’s karate grading. The food has a home-made feel, is very reasonably priced and we love that there are healthy options as well as ‘treats’ for the children. The watermelon slices go down particularly well!
