Ramsbottoms - Northampton

Today, we called ahead for lunch before watching our team, Barnsley FC, play against Northampton Town FC. The food at the restaurant was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. The chips we had with our meals were thick and not greasy, which was a pleasant surprise. We would definitely visit this restaurant again if we are in Northampton. Thank you!

The best fries in town! I have been a loyal customer for years and this restaurant never disappoints. The fish here is also fantastic, especially their massive jumbo fish that is so big it comes on special plates.

We arrived just before closing time, but the staff were still very polite and friendly. They were very helpful with my wife, who is gluten-free, recommending the best types of fish to order considering the differences in temperature and batter compared to gluten. I tried the cod and chips, which were delicious - crispy and not greasy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

As a coeliac it is very rare to find a place locally where you can have a treat of gluten free fish and chips. It is an absolute joy to have this restaurant in Northampton where you can enjoy this wonderful treat without worry. The owners are very on it with ensuring the meal is safe to eat. The chips and fish are always a good size and very tasty. It was also nice to enjoy a gluten free pudding too. A must go for anyone in Northampton who is coeliac or following a gluten free diet. Thank you for providing this option for people like myself.

The chip shop serves great freshly cooked for and chips including gluten free ! We had gluten free fish and chips and non gluten free as well. Will be returning!
