Rapone Original Brick Oven

The dame who waited for me was wonderful and sweet. transaction was super fast, I was in and out. pizza and naughty brothsticks were so delicious, the crust of the pizza was one of my favorite!

We had a nice dinner here on a Monday night. it was very busy, so we sat at the bar. our server was also the bartender, but he was friendly and happy despite the fact that he was very busy. everything we ate was delicious and served hot and fresh. would eat here definitiw again.

That was my first visit. I was with three friends. our eating was delicious, but the server, danielle, was the real tasty bite. we travel around the country (on motorbikes,) so we are often only the falken strangers in another restaurant. it needs a special person to meet them for the first time and really make them welcome. they know that they are sincere when they smile with their eyes, not only their lips. danielle is this person. she knows how to feel like home.

We are transplanted New Yorkers to Charlotte, NC and pine for the calzones up there. This was the first place we have found in 4 years that we could say the calzones were equal to, if not BETTER than, the NY calzones. All their pizzas are the same size, which probably helps in the consistency. We had just cheese, but it was excellent. We saw others with pasta dishes and they looked great. There were a number of guy-only groups, that we guessed just came from the golf course. The bonus was that night (Thursday) they had a live violinist playing! Not a big restaurant, but it seems to cater to a lot of take outs. We are still talking about this place. If you've never tasted a real calzone, do yourself a favor and go here.

Delicious fresh pizza with good quality ingredients, at a great price. We ate here twice during our stay and will miss it!
