Reggae Pon The Grille

I am visiting Chicago and wanted some paprika shrimps, so I found this restaurant on the site and it?s around my mother house so that I and my niece when I had my shrimps that had shrimp in a while, I said what . They say that is a special order. I think they should determine what they have in the restaurant and on the website. I ordered brownstew fish, fried fish, subordination of calli, mackerel and landfill. The food looks good, but sad to say I was very disappointed. The mackerel had no taste, the brown roasted fish tasted like it was cooked days ago and it was half spoiled very slim,It was terrible, the fish was dry schnapps had no taste on it. The only thing that was good was my beautiful foot she ordered was the barbecue chicken. I'm Jamaican and I know how the food tastes. I know there's a better Jamaican restaurant here.

I was looking for this area for an authentic Jamaican restaurant and we were not disappointed by Reggae pon the Grille. I had some heads of development looking for Caribbean cuisine. We ordered everything in the menu literally. The atmosphere and the bar area were inconvenient and they played the music too loud, but the food was excellent. Co-owners Nadine and her cooker were a joy. A first-generation immigrants settled with us for over an hour and explained every court in detail, showed us prep techniques and shared a few family secrets. It's hard for me to propose a certain court. We all enjoyed it. If you are in this area, this family business will support. They won't be disappointed.

I should have gone when the lady started a big attitude, but I had gone a long way. The menu looks like they have many different options. Unfortunately I stayed and ordered food. The Ruck Chicken was dry and a tiny part of the chicken with a whole box of rice. No jerk sauce was present, so it was dry and very easy tasting. The brown one-pot fish was fine, but nothing special. The rude attitude of the lady didn't let me come back. Bad experience of bad food.

I haven't been there for 4 years. We had the Mannish water soup (goat head) and it was a wonderful taste; not too spicy. The rice and the peas and the oxen were delicious. We also had the Ruck Chicken and I heard it was impressive. The food tanks had come out steam after delivery of Uber! We will definitely order more often?

What an amazing restaurant.Great food and service. The ambience was so inviting and friendly. Ava was so kind and friendly she helped me so much with everything. What an amazing time at the bar. I took pictures and videos hope you like.
