House of Soy - North Bondi

I came to my cousin's birthday dinner. the service was friendly and helpful, and the food was well prepared and presented. the small portions seemed small, but let us feel full. it is not a cheap evening when they start eating and ordering pages, but it is worth it. it is for high quality food. a beautiful location also directly on bondi beach.

My partner and I enjoyed an early dinner at this restaurant after a long walk. The view of the beach was lovely and the service was good. The toilets were located below some stairs. I ordered a sushi and sashimi set which was very tasty. The miso soup could have been hotter and the wasabi could have been stronger. Overall, I would go back to this restaurant.

I've been to House of Soy in Bondi a handful of times in recent years and the food and service is always very good. One can't complain if they enjoy Asahi on tap and it would be wrong of me to say that the ambience...of this venue is quiet and content. It's anything but. A buzzing young trendy crowd, often tables of dating couples, always finds its way to House of Soy. The food is as authentic Japanese as the staff working there and the prices are reasonable if you plan to share plates. With quite an extensive menu, it's safe to say there is something for everyone. I highly recommend the Soft shell crab and Salmon Aburi Rolls. Three people, a few beers, entrees and mains total cost $100 AUD.
