Just Jerk - Norristown

I placed an order for myself and my friends, and everything went smoothly until it was time to pay. Unfortunately, I realized I didn’t have my wallet with me. I know, it was a silly mistake, and I should have checked before leaving home. It was pretty embarrassing, to be honest. But the owner reassured me not to worry and said I could pay him back later, even though he had never seen me before. I really appreciated his kindness. I immediately drove the 40 minutes back to Pottstown to repay him and even gave him a tip for his generosity. The jerk chicken I ordered was some of the best I've ever had! I would go back today if they weren’t closed on Sundays.

I had a fantastic meal here at an affordable price! I ordered the jerk chicken served with rice and beans (the menu calls it rice with peas, which is a Jamaican thing, but they are indeed beans) and candied sweet potatoes. My friend tried the curry chicken with macaroni and cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious! The jerk chicken had a nice kick to it, and the curry was quite mild. This place is definitely worth a visit! They accept credit cards, but there is a $10 minimum and a $0.50 surcharge. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot with great food and a friendly owner!

We had a fantastic meal! The jerk chicken, brown stew, mac and cheese, and yams were all delicious. The owner was incredibly friendly, and her son, Russel, even opened the door for us. Let's support small businesses like this one. We'll definitely be returning!
