Subway - Norfolk

The service was awesome by a younger dude. I paid with a debt card and wanted to tip the dude however debt cards don?t allow it. Y?all should update the system so the people working there can make a few extra bucks!

This store needs new employees at night. Store closes at 9pm . At 8:15pm I arrived. They saw me getting out of my car so they turned off lights. This is to make you think they are closed. I went in and saw two men . One was sweeping the other just standing. I asked are you closed. We are closing but the food was still out. After looking at them I figured it?s best to leave. I told them I would be calling about this store. They didn?t need a job. You are to help every customer that comes in your store. It was not closing time. They had 45 minuets be fore they closed.

Poor staffing and employee expressed to everyone in the store that they did not care. I work customer service the level of service given was an E-. Subway does not have to worry about me ever buying anything out of this location. I will drive 10 miles away before I go back to that location as well as the other 4 customers in the store at the time.

This is probably one of the worst subway locations in Norfolk. I was just in there on October 23, 2020 and the only thing I could say that was pleasant about the experience is the lady that was in front of me in line made me laugh with our conversation. I asked for a pizza. A gentlemen one with beautifully braided cornrows (can?t remember his name my apologies) that was less than enthusiastic I was told that they no longer offered personal pizzas at Subway. I asked him if it was just his location and he said no. Although in my mind I knew this was incorrect information. I USUALLY go to the subway on Little Creek Road and tidewater drive next to UPS. I had just gotten one the previous week at that location and the week before that and the week before that. I had happened to be in this area because I was at the Harris teeter in the same parking lot. After no luck with the pizza I tried to get a sub BUT the the same young man as before said they were out of Italian herbs and cheese (bread I wanted). So I said thank you I?m good wished everyone a good day and left happily with nothing. Thank God for the woman in front of me who was very humorous and got me through.

I want to start off this review by thanking God, Yahweh, Allah, Buddha, and all of the Hindu gods that the day I went there were employees there who just wanted to do their job and talk to the customers with respect. There are so many 1 2 starred reviews for this location! The store was clean, staff great, and my sandwich came out tasting great to my order. I ordered the tuna sandwich with bacon, jalapenos, salt, pepper, and had it toasted. Delicious! You should try it!
