Sanctuary - Norfolk

The tacos here are simply amazing. I personally love the ground beef tacos with the Roasted Red Pepper hot sauce. The taste and juiciness of them have been fantastic. Our bartender, Cynthia, is an amazing waitress and is always attentive and a delight to talk with. I highly recommend this place for a great taco and great hole-in-the-wall bite.

These proteins are offered in the standard hard and soft shell but you can also try the Sanctuary

I will start off by saying do not be fooled by the humble appearance of this place. There aren't a lot of staff members but they do a great job at servicing everyone within a reasonable amount of time...you more than likely have to order at the bar though. We sat at the bar, so it wasn't an issue. About to the food! I am not a fan of American Tacos -the ones with the crunchy shell, flour tortillas, and toppings like lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. Great customer service with a trendy environment. Tacos are one of my top meal choices and I must admit these tacos are simply phenomenal. The shredded pork and chicken were my favorite. When matched with their honey hot sauce, it is quite the experience. I will be back and recommend to all.

The staff were amazing and tentative. They have indoor and outdoor seating but we choose indoor since we were outside most of the day. It is a wonderful spot. The tacos. THE TACOS! It's like they reached for amazing and accidentally landed in perfection.
