My family and I went to this restaurant on Saturday 27th August afternoon for a late lunch. Our primary attraction was the Maharaja Thali but we were disappointed because thalis can be ordered from 11 am to 3:30 pm only and we reached here at 4 pm. We ordered Mysore Rava Masala dosa, Tharkari Anna (fried rice) and Malabar Parotta. We finished the meal with coffee and kokum soda. The cherry on the cake was the meetha paan and it must not be missed. This restaurant is located right next to the Noida Electronic City metro station on Delhi Metro Blue line and is very well connected. , Car parking is not available near the restaurant. It took us around 15 minutes to get a suitable parking nearby because these parkings are not manned by attendants. We were late and entered the restaurant at 4 pm. Almost all the tables except two or three were occupied. The Seats are comfortable and of correct height with respect to the tables for eating. We were offered buttermilk as a welcome drink. The food tasted excellent but slightly more quantity was expected as per the price charged. The service was quick and the restaurant is well maintained. However, kokum sharbat should be on the menu and staff need to be more friendly to the guests.
Best South Indian restaurant so far in Noida. Varieties and authentic taste. Loved it must try.
This was the second time I tried Naivedyam, first at Hauz Khas Village (The ambience is really good) and second time at Sec-63, Noida. The location of the restaurant is not very good. It's behind Metro Station and not at all visible from main road. The cleanliness of nearby areas is also very bad, however this has nothing to do with the restaurant, They can't do much about it. We ordered Onion Rava Masala Dosa, Onion Mysore Masala Dosa and Maharaja Thali. The taste of each item was very ordinary. Being an authentic South Indian restaurant everything lacked flavour and fragrance which is a must when you go to an authentic South Indian restaurant. Once you step in you should feel that you have entered an authentic place. However the design of the restaurant compliments the restaurant. Food taste wise I did not enjoy much.
Their Mysore masala dosa was the highlight of our meal. It was perfectly spicy, tangy and garlicky. The idlis are very fluffy and accompanied by a classic gunpowder+ghee condiment. I’ve had their mixed vegetable uttapam, coconut rice and thali on previous occasions (from the Hauz Khas Village branch) which are also amply portioned and delicious. In the winter, they serve you rasam+popaddams as a welcome snack, and in the summer, a refreshing cold mini glass of buttermilk. The wait staff is very warm and attentive. A great place for South Indian food, superior to the overhyped adjoining Sarvana Bhawan.
