Contribuiți la feedbackThe nurses were fantastic and very helpful; the check-in process was easy, and we didn't wait long at all. However, the doctor was one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. She didn’t listen to what I was saying and literally interrupted me, walking out of the room while I was in the middle of explaining my symptoms. She said, “I don’t think that has anything to do with this; you need to see our hand specialist,” and just left. A nurse then came in with my paperwork, informed me about my daughter's prescription, and explained how to make an appointment with the hand specialist in a couple of days. I’m still feeling unwell, and my wrist issue continues to bother me, but I can’t even find a ride to return to the hospital right now. The prescription has helped my daughter, for which I'm grateful, but I still need medical attention—not just for my hand. It was frustrating that the doctor didn’t give me a chance to fully explain my symptoms before dismissing me, almost as if I was foolish for thinking an infection could be affecting my body. Well, it hasn't left my body, so where could it have gone?
I arrived at the hospital experiencing intense kidney stone pain. Though I suspected it was a kidney stone, the staff took thorough measures before confirming the diagnosis. I spent only five minutes in the waiting room before being brought back for treatment. The nurse attended to me right away, and within a few minutes, the physician's assistant came in. There was no debate over pain medication, and everything was explained to me in clear detail. The discharge process was as smooth as it could possibly be. I would rate my experience with more than five stars if that were an option!
I took my daughter to Riverview Westfield on the 4th of July. The receptionist, Brittany, was one of the most polite and cheerful people I've ever encountered at this hospital. Kudos to Brittany! I hope the hospital administration recognizes her efforts because she is truly making a positive impact on others!
I went to the ER because I thought I'd pulled my shoulder out, I was having severe pain and my arm and neck were going numb. The ER wasn't busy at all it took 30 mins for a nurse to come in briefly feel my neck and shoulder and said I just pulled a muscle and sent me on my way. Well that didn't help I went to Saint Vincent and I had actually fractured my neck in 3 places! Not only did I not see an actual doctor at Riverview but when I got the bill it said I owed $986 to a doctor I didn't even see!
I dealt with nasty Nat aka Natalie R. Richards PA. Came to this poorly run hospital around 10:30p on June 15. Someone escorted me back to the ER, asked for urine prior to escorting me to my room and proceeded to tell me the nurse would be in shortly. They didn’t have a single patient in the ER. 9+ staff (LPNs PAs) hanging out in a circle chatting it up about previous experiences with unruly patients along with discussing their personal lives. I had severe back pain and a possible infection. 20min later, someone comes in and tells me my urine is clear. Doesn’t check vitals, doesn’t ask me any questions. “I” ask this specific person (because she didn’t even introduce herself) if it could be this, or that. She tells me she “doesn’t know”. Tells me I could have an STI. Uhm mam, I’m here in the ER, with my husband on the phone, no possible STI and I am in pain! Proceeded to discharge me while I’m asking for help and asking for information to file a formal complaint. I went to Saxony and within 30min, they tell me I have a bladder infection. They discharge me on 3 different medications. I dealt with Natalie R. Richards, PA. Unbelievable.
