La Transhumance - Nîmes

Visited here whilst attending the Indoor Archery World Cup.Came as a group of 12 but didn't book but we're accommodated with no issue even though they were very busy.12 tired and hungry archers hitting any restaurant is bad as we all become food monsters and can devour anything that gets in our path.The food here was so good we came back 2 nights in a row.Burgers were amazingSteak was SublimePasta was perfectDidnt have a desert myself but those that did had no complaints.Demon beer was very very tasty at 8%Will be back again next year.:-)

I might of been on an off night, but the first service was very un impressed. It was 'what do you want you are interrupting me' service. The service once we sat down, was i would say ok and just. The language difference was no problem, the waiter did his best. The establishment serve the locals well, as it should, but foreigners, left to wonder.Very well laid out establishment, hosts well another guessOverall 6 out of 10

Host more interested in the locals than working with us on our drinks order.Young bloke who took our food order did well.I had the calamari rings, not sure what they actually were but they weren't that great, deep fried mush.Helped myself to some complimentary bread, we weren't given any like others.
