Avant Garde - Nîmes

We had spent the morning at the museum. Was turned away from Tge Museum Restaurant and wandered to Place du Marche. This is an iconic place with its well. There are a number of bistros, but we went for the underestimated and demanding avant-garde. Excellent food. Good English, air cone. A very good lunch would go back.

Nice place for lunch or dinner right in the center of Nimes. The food is delicious and portions are very generous. I recommend the Burger. The staff was very nice, thanks to Samantha for my visit so special. Desserts are amazing!... I'd definitely come back. I suggest you book here or in any other restaurant in Nimes.

Excellent service as Always, loving the menu everytime ! You will always walk out full and with exeeded expectations ! Always a pleasure.

Worse meal of the trip. 4 of us ate lunch. On both starters mains, there was 10 minutes between the first 2 plates arriving the second pair. Rose wine arrived warm remedy was it add ice. Son's sent back (salmon tartare complete...with bones and skin) the poor lass came to clear our table before his returned. Food overall was poor. I appreciate places have a bad day there so much room for improvement.
