The Chutney House - Niles

We ordered dahi puri, kati roll, and ice cream at the restaurant. The dahi puri was not up to par, but the kati roll was fantastic with delicious fillings. The Chiku ice cream for dessert was good, although they did not have the flavor I wanted to try. Overall, it was a good experience, with a rating of 4 out of 5. It is worth noting that they had only been open for a week. However, they should consider using better packaging for takeout orders, as aluminum foil without a container can be problematic. Unfortunately, when we arrived at 7:30, all the biryanis were sold out.

The owner was very friendly and took the time to ask how my meal was. The food at this new restaurant was relatively quick and tasty. I have no complaints about the prices, as they were reasonable at $3.49 and $4.99. Unlike many Indian restaurants, the customer service here was excellent. I would recommend being patient and understanding, as this is a new place that can only improve with time. Some customers were a bit disruptive, but overall, our experience trying the masala dosa, simple dosa, sambar, chutney, and idli was good. I hope to return and see even better quality in the future!
