The Dawnay Arms - Newton on Ouse

I had lunch here on a Sunday, and the staff was friendly; however, they forgot to bring my drink order, which cost them a star in my review. The restaurant is clearly family-friendly, as there were many diners with children. The outdoor terrace and garden area offer a beautiful view, and I will definitely return.

We had a lovely Sunday dinner. I ordered the roasted brittle bells, which were moist and perfectly seasoned, featuring crispy edges. The vegetables were also well-seasoned, and the accompanying gravy was a nice touch. It’s a great alternative for someone who isn’t in the mood for a traditional Sunday roast. The pub has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with ample parking available at the back, and the online booking system was efficient. The staff was friendly and quick to assist. We’re looking forward to returning with our family for a second visit!

Another stunning meal out, beer is great and just eat nice with really nice menu options. pizzas looked very good and also offered pick-up orders, but the duck and chicken dishes we had were great. Nice that we came back here instead of going to the city.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. It has a simple yet inviting atmosphere, with a warm and friendly vibe. The staff were lovely, and the food was delicious. Every aspect of my visit was top-notch. I started with tempura vegetables, which included red peppers, mushrooms, and tender broccoli. For my main course, I had a smoked vegetable dish. I don't drink, so I can't comment on the beverage options. While the prices were on the higher side, the quality of the food made it worth it. Overall, I would give it a 5-star rating!

Had a great lunch here with the family. Food was excellent and the service from the young lady looking after us was warm friendly and helpful. One of our 'go to ' places for a great dog friendly meal out.
