The Woodshed - Newport

Come on. This place is off the charts good. 6 stars good. Do not be scared by the gravel road. Just drive up it, park and get fed that level 10 grub. The decor is cool country and reflects the culture of the area. Loved it.

Excellent and great food, Had tater skins which were full of pulled pork and very flavorful. The Woodshed burger was huge and more than I could eat . The wife and I could have split one. Will be back when in the area.

We love finding gems when we travel! And The Woodshed proved to be a gem. Superb service!! Good Food! Great Atmosphere. Give it a try ya won?t be disappointed!

Friendly atmosphere. Nice staff. Really good food! We were looking for something off the tourist area. Came across The Woodshed?. So glad we went up that hill to the restaurant.

This place is so popular get used to the fact you're going to have to wait fifteen to thirty minutes. The food is AWESOME!! So delicious, flavorful and very generous proportions! The wait staff is AWESOME!!! Our waitress was so sweet and attentive! We never had dirty dishes on our table, our drinks were always filled and she was amazing! Our food was brought out hot and it stayed warm. It didn't start getting cold as soon as she sat it on the table. Our only regret was that we didn't get one of the beautiful, delicious looking desserts that we saw go by! We'll save that for next time because there will definitely be a next time!
