Teixeira's Bakery - Newark

The other day, I visited this restaurant and I was really impressed by the staff. Due to COVID-19, they require everyone to wear a mask inside. If you don't have one, they offer to sell you one. The service was both good and efficient, with all the staff wearing masks. I ordered the BLT sandwich, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Additionally, their coffee is excellent — I wasn't surprised because they had just brewed a fresh pot when I arrived. I highly recommend this place!

I wanted to have breakfast this morning, but I was extremely disappointed. There was no social distancing, and many people were allowed in without masks. The two women working there didn’t say anything to anyone about the safety measures. Even worse, their masks only covered their mouths and not their noses. At least 15 people were crammed inside. It was absolutely unacceptable. They really shouldn't be open under these conditions.

I've only had the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich from here a few times, but it's been enjoyable. The bacon is made with real slices, and the white cheese is excellent as well.
