Los Tacos - Oklahoma City

They are not dine in, they do not have a public restroom, they are not handicapped accessible, they only take cash, and the hours are absurd. Complete turn off. I turned around and walked out.

Just got a beef sancho. Yumm!! I would have given them a 4 rating, but the sancho was cold from the sour cream. Still a yummy sancho. It's a greasy dive, with mainly call-in orders. I love this place! I always thought the burritos should get top billing tho. In my opinion the combination burrito is the starof the menu! Delicious! Their burrito is like no other anywhere. It is so good it doesn't even gave to pretend that it's something that it's not. It's not "authentic Mexican" and it's not Tex-Mex. It's some kind of wonderful Oklahoma food that you will always want once you taste it! Their flat nachos are so so very good. Not like any thing called a nacho anywhere else, but trust me. You should get one. Their salsa makes you want to drink it. I hate to sound old, but I have loved Los Tacos since I discovered the original place on sw 44th back in the early 70's when you walked up to the window to order, went back to your car to listen to your am radio and they would wave at you when it was ready. I hope the next generation of the family will continue with this business and stay with the original recipes. It would be a sad world with no Los Tacos. One of the few places that are worth stopping to get cash on the way to be able to eat there!

I've lived down the road from here for years and always saw it driving by. At first look from the parking lot.. It is a hole in the wall, which is why ii never went in. An acquaintance of mine told me about the place abd said I should go. I had 2 hard beef tacos, 2 soft chic tacos. I almost bought 4 more! Delicious! Going back tomorrow!
