El Mitote - New York City

Great Mexican for a fast casual vibe. Chicken tacos had a generous amount of meat. Guacamole appetizer had a less generous amount. Large margaritas have a lot of ice so not as large as it looks but still delicious! Not a particularly romantic or relaxing vibe, but a short walk from Beacon Theater if you’re looking for drinks and food before a show!

Excellent shrimp tacos, Guacamole, chicken enchiladas and cheese quesadillas!!! The red and green salsas were amazing!! We sat out in the heated outdoor seating, and even with it being cold and rainy outside, we stayed cozy! The staff was great as well!

What a pleasant surprise, truly hecho como en Mexico. The pozole is a bowl full of comfort.

We ate outside on a cold afternoon. The heater helped, but the crazy dude on the sidewalk did not.

The food was delicious, and the waitress was very attentive and kind.
