Deliteria Deli Grocery - New York City

The delivery drivers are completely reckless and the deli does not care. One of them almost ran over my dog. I asked the guy not to drive his moped on the sidewalk and instead of getting onto the street he DELIBERATELY pointed him moped towards me and my dog to threaten us.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Not worth the hassle, missing items from order, awful service.....

Don 't order from this place. I used to get food from them pretty regularly. Nothing crazy, just sandwiches since they are open at weird hours. Tonight I placed an order for 8 cans of soda, which is obviously very straightforward. After about 20 minutes, I checked the whereabouts of my delivery from UberEats, and I saw that my order was canceled. When I called Uber customer service, they told me that the UberEats platform automatically canceled my order because the deli never accepted it (read: it looked like my order had timed out in the system). But that 's not actually what happened. Upon looking into it further on my end, the deli had changed its status to closed/not accepting and orders , which is bizarre since they are open 24/7 according to their hours info. So my guess is they saw my order and just turned off the app, which ultimately canceled my order. And rather than be decent human beings, they just trashed my order and didn 't even have the courtesy to contact me to let me know. So I continued to sit here like an idiot, waiting for food that was never going to come.

Theyre rude, horrible prices, and, if you dont have the hand reaction of lightning, they will charge you the highest tip from his side of the screen before you can even decide if they deserve a tip; they don't!
