Contribuiți la feedbackI absolutely adore this restaurant. I recently returned to NYC and was disappointed to find that the food court was closed. My suggestion is to only open Todd English and limit guest reservations. As a long-time client who has stayed at The Plaza for years, I believe this establishment is an integral part of the hotel's elegance. Please consider revitalizing it.
I am reaching out for help in locating Todd, who is the nephew of my late grandfather Armando. I have been searching for him for years, but no one will respond to me. I am Marcela Vagaras' granddaughter, the step-granddaughter of Todd's uncle Army (nicknamed). I have lost most of my family on this side and I want Todd to know that I still exist and miss him since I was a child. If someone can help me get in touch with him, I would be extremely grateful. I am even willing to pay for assistance. Thank you to anyone who can help.
The service at this restaurant has significantly worsened, and the quality of the food is inconsistent, which is not acceptable considering the high prices. During our party of 4, each person received their food at different times from various servers who did not check on us or offer any additional assistance. It took a long time for our waiter to finally come around, and even then, we had to remind him multiple times for our drinks. The restaurant seemed too busy for anyone to receive a good dining experience. Our bill for lunch (2 adults, 2 children) was $200, and we expected better service and food. The mushroom flatbread was soggy and difficult to eat. Unfortunately, despite being our third visit, the experience has only been getting worse each time. This visit was our last.
This is the most inconsistent service that I've ever seen at a restaurant at this price point. You can tell that by reading the reviews but I myself had the same experience. I brought my mom here for her birthday because I came once and had great food and experience however I was seated at the bar. Michelle and Christina were amazing however we originally was to be seated at one of those small round tables by the bar which are not tables to have a full course meal. Those tables should only be extensions of the bar and used for patrons only ordering drinks or maybe an appetizer. After seating us at a table we discovered our silverware was dirty. But what really displeased me was the fact that my mom's food came out 15 minutes before mine. What restaurant does that? The waiter explained it's because they have 5 kitchens and whatever dish is ready first from whichever kitchen, it comes out. I don't see why all the food is not held until the entire party's order is complete so that they can eat together. It seems very incompetent for a restaurant of this statue. The chef tried to give me a salad while I waited so that my mom was just not eating alone, however at that point I didn't care and we should of received a salad with both of our meals anyway from a restaurant like this. My mom's chicken was amazing yet they didn't give her enough rice to accompany a whole half chicken and there were no vegetables. Same thing with my salmon, delicious but not enough of the sides. Could of took my mom someplace better, highly disappointed!
This place was amazing! Located in the gorgeous Plaza Hotel on the lower level. It’s filled with fine cheeses, breads, pastries, coffees, seafoods and cafes. The Todd English Food Hall also hosts a fabulous dining facility that my daughter and I ate lunch at. She wanted something, fried shrimp, that was not on the menu. The waiter spoke to the chef who was most accommodating and whipped up a perfect meal made to order for her and she was beyond pleased. My meal was superb as well. The manager came over, introduced himself to us and made small talk with my 8 year old which I find very nice to include the little ones as they are people too obviously! Lol. I highly recommend this place ... right across from Central Park.
