The Smith Pizza Joint Lincoln Square

I went to The Smith for an early lunch, before the busy lunch rush, to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. The restaurant was clean, charming, and beautifully decorated.

This restaurant is conveniently located near where we stay when we visit the city, and our friends seem to enjoy it. The quality of the food is good and the prices are reasonable for New York City. Overall, it's a solid option for a meal.

I enjoyed the salad. It had a good contrast of textures. The chicken has a nice crispy skin and it was served with a creamy mashed potato. However, the sauce didn?t go well with the chicken. It had good color and consistency, but had an unpleasantbitter aftertaste. Maybe I should have just ordered the burger. Overall, it was overrated. I knocked another star off becausethe server was already clearing out the dishes before I could finish the appetizer. Rude! It felt that we were being rushed tofinish our dinner.

The staff was amazing. We arrived early for our reservation but they still accommodated us. The waiter suggested several meals for us since this was our first time visiting the restaurant, and me being very picky. The food was as good as the service wereceived. The restaurant is very vibrant and very well decorated. You also have the choice of sitting outside.
