Sage Roadhouse - New York

I was really excited to say how I heard it was a great place to lunch. I have reserved 4 people. when we sat, we were 1 of 3 tables that had customers (that was a Monday by midday). our server has not brought us about 10 minutes closer. we ordered and were informed after another 10 minutes that they were from 3 of the items we ordered, as well as the type of champagne we wanted. our server apologised the debt to short-term. there were not so many tables filled at this point, so we were not sure what they were talking about. When our food came, she forgot one of our meals and also forgot that one of us ordered the truffles. the server did not seem to have been rushing to correct dinge. the atmosphere was sweet but not sweet enough for these prices and the lack of good service. would not recommend and will not go back. there are too many other good places to waste another meal here.

We ordered and were informed after another 10 minutes that they were out of 3 of the items we ordered as well as the type of champagne we wanted. Our server apologized blaming on being short-staffed. There weren't that many tables filled at that point, so we weren't sure what she was talking about. When our food came out, she forgot one of our meals and also forgot that one of us ordered the truffle fries. The server didn't seem that rushed to correct things. The atmosphere was cute, but not cute enough for those prices and the lack of good service. Would not recommend and will not be going back. There are too many other good places to waste another meal here.

Even though this restaurant is not a Manhattan hot spot, it truly shines with creativity and mouthwatering flavors. The owners are earnest and attentive. Excellent neighborhood spot and far more accessible than LES or Tribeca. Definitely worth trip to LIC!

I went here for Brunch with 3 others. Tristen was our waiter, and he was officially the best waiter I have had in NYC- He not only was knowledgeable about the menu, he was super friendly and the right amount of attentive. Thank you for making my Birthday brunch a great experience!! I will be back!

I understand the kitchen is small, but there is no longer a great selection to choose from Also, they ran out of the burger at 7.30 However, I will keep coming back again and again
