Main Street Bistro - New York

Today was the first time ever that I was let down by Main Street Bistro in the years we've been going. I ordered the corned beef hash with poached eggs. First there was barely any corned beef, the potatoes were either very small or very large chunks. The biggest issue was the poached eggs, they were essentially hard boiled. I love ️ this place! The food is awesome and the service is the best. If you are in New Paltz you have to stop and eat at this fantastic local eatery

Excellent food. We make the trip just for the home fries sometimes! Have been back several times since. Food was excellent and the prices are incredible. Eat here.

Service terrible. Wait 50 minutes for a table then another 5 just to get water. Never going back and have been there r many times before.

I recently visited Main Street Bistro and was pleasantly surprised; it was a lot of fun. The atmosphere was a perfect mix of college vibes and a nostalgic hometown feel. The interior was dimly lit but full windows up front bring the outside in, and older and a bit worn but that adds to the charm IMO.
