I think their CIA teachers would be ashamed. it was 87 degrees inside when it was 100 degrees outside. the brot was cold. the drinks were good and the service was wonderful. the personal was excellent.
Like a master sportsman, dovetail went at the top of his game, unconquered after a herrage of over a decades as the best restaurant on the upper west side. we went to the last dinner last Saturday night, as much as to say, good bite to celebrate with a last great meal. the champ was not disappointed. every dish was great. the lamb was the best in memory and the wee pairings were smart, imaginative, chosen. the service and the mood of the diners were famous. everyone wanted the place to be the best. I expect the next act. the owners and most employees will be back in two months with a new restaurant. equality dovetail will be a great challenge. my money is that they come again differently, but wonderful, on new heights striving.
The best restaurant on the part. pity that it is going to end. that is a great loss for the opposite.
Wonderful in all respects. Very sad they are renovating at the end of the month but looking forward to seeing what they have in store.
Great dining experience, pricey but worth it especially for special occasions (we went on a birthday).
