Olde Trading Post - New Hyde Park

We had burger and pommes in the back room. eating and service were pretty good. if they like to sing, dance, etc. they have live bands playing the weekend nights. beer on hahn was a bit expensive. $7 for a blue moon ****. they have a board advertising all the beer specialties, but do not realize that the fine pressure they have to get on the bar.

The comfort food here is truly delightful, with burgers, sandwiches, and wraps that are all delicious. Their appetizers are no exception! We had a group of 20 and opted for a selection of appetizers and drinks to kick off the evening. We enjoyed Swedish meatballs, chicken quesadilla, cheese pizza, risotto balls, mini burger sliders, and BBQ chicken skewers. We managed to reserve tables up front, giving us a great view of the band. Our family also enjoyed lunch in the back dining room, where there is a second bar to ensure guests are served promptly. If you're looking for a quieter spot away from the music, this area is perfect for enjoying your meal without the noise. The staff excels in food preparation and service, and they truly know how to provide high-quality entertainment! During the warmer months, they also open up their beautiful outdoor area, which is welcoming and well-maintained. We look forward to another hundred years of visits to this historic tavern on Jericho Turnpike!

This gem of a restaurant offers a lively atmosphere and excellent food, complemented by a top-notch staff. It was bustling last night, with a diverse crowd from all age groups, and the energy was fantastic. Jacinta and Billy, what an unforgettable night!

This restaurant has a gorgeous atmosphere and a fantastic selection of appetizers, mixed drinks, and craft beers. The service was incredibly friendly, and I wish I could remember the name of my server—she was amazing! Such hard work and energy; she never stopped moving. I highly recommend this place!
