Lamberti's Italian Sausage - New Haven

Top notch sausage!! Although a little hard to find, well worth the effort. Once you enter the shipping (yeah, more shipping than shipping) it on your left about 3 shops in, hidden by trucks sometimes. They sell great 5 pound boxes of sweat or hot sausages that grill up perfectly. They are surprisingly lean with very little fat rendered which is surprising considering how much flavor is packed in. As such, pan frying needs a touch of oil but not much and nothing too strong as you shouldn't mess with these sausages. A really unique flavor compared to sausages from NY and shouldn't even be compared to most supermarket and deli versions. I am very happy I found this place.

I've tried the rest, but Lamberti is the best! Authentic taste.

Yesterday, they were at ShopRite in Clinton. I'm so glad they were as it was truly the best Italian sausage I've ever had! Top notch ingredients and no corn syrup or preservatives like the others. The best!
