Contribuiți la feedbackFor the first time on Thanksgiving month, 10/17. October, sung on Riverside Eatery, had a great meal with the family. Food was great! Many turkeys and gravity. Ellen, our server was amazing, pleasant and very accommodating! We will definitely come back! Thank you.
Good food. Great desserts. Free gluten-free problem. Service was fast and friendly. Wide range of high-quality ice cream and fresh bakery. Store and Laundromat on site. Will definitely return.
This was our second trip to the newly possessed and renovated food. Our first attempt failed because the site was only open for dinner at first we were really happy to hear from extended hours When we came in, we were delighted to update the dining room. The stands are not fixed so that you can adjust the tables; our server was excellent; happy and welcomed us quickly and immediately took care of menus and drinks. The menu has a lot of options; Appetizers, salads, burgers, seafood, pizza, pasta... there should be something for everyone. We enjoyed the loose Hamburg on frits taste and portion was just right The bread pudding dessert was a beautiful size portion, beautiful texture and taste and many raisins The lasagna diving cup was not a hit with us watery (possibly frozen, then microwave? and no real taste the chips were bought, multicolored tostito style a selection of baked tortilla or pita chips brushed with herbs would have been a nice touch. And the bathroom itself really needs taste. There were also a few employees who had personal conversations and one who sat and broke at the counter in the dining room, that is one of the rules that are followed in professional hospitality. While there are few negatives, they are observations that take into account that it is a new operational crew. We will not allow us to stay away from it, but we may not be ready to maintain it.
Since there were limited options for Sunday morning brunch in Bridgewater, we quickly searched on Google and were reminded of the Riverside Eatery. We arrived a few minutes past breakfast time but were not disappointed. The menu had a great variety, the furnishings were clean (including the bathroom, a bonus!), the service was great, and the food was very good. We both ordered the clubhouse sandwich with fries, which was simple and quick yet made with high-quality ingredients. The freshly baked bread, thick bacon, and perfectly-roasted turkey made for a delicious sandwich. The portion size was generous and the coffee was large. Overall, it was a successful visit and we will definitely make the trip back for brunch before noon!
I hope this place finds it's stride, as it's nice to not have to go to Bridgewater for pub food. You will get more customers if you serve hand cut fries, not Sunspun 7/16 skin on. Also homemade gravy, not powdered lipton beef, or trio,...or olde style. These are 2 changes I would recommend. I go to waves just for the gravy. I found the soft serve ice cream was expensive for a large that didn't look like a large. Not sure if the burgers were homemade or frozen, but it was pretty good. Overall the building is very nice, the staff were nice, and the food was ok (but I do now know one of the waitreses schedule at her other job B.P), keep staff chit chat in the back. I will go back again soon to see if they have worked out the kinks. Homemade goes a long way. You can get cheap pub food at Charlies.
