Garrison Deli - New Castle

4.9 rating on google maps. I was expecting the 4.9 to be an inflated rating by The Garrison Apartments residents that regularly visit the Garrison deli. I am very happy to say this is a good little spot. It was early so I got a Scrapple, egg and cheese sandwich. Two eggs and a good amount of scrapple. I like that they slice the scrapple thin and then double stack it on the sandwich. The Scrapple adds a lot of crispiness to the sandwich. It was a one man show the day I went. He may not be the fastest but he does a very good job and the regulars seem to like him. I almost forgot $5.99. You know I like that.

One of the best Italian Subs I’ve ever had. Made a weekend trip down from NY and this place is Top Notch. Everything is big portions, owner is very personable and engaging. I will definitely be back. I wish Garrisons Deli the best of luck.

We purchased 2 Turkey subs for our 1st time. The roll was more like bread. Not a nice crisp sub roll. EVERYTHING, including pickles, were sliced SO, SO thin. So thin shredded , the lettuce just sort of balled up on the sandwich. The Turkey was an ok quality, but it was sort of like serving chipped lunch meat. The quantity of Turkey was just ok. Not a good sub based on what we have experienced from other places. Their other items on the menu, may be good. We may at some point try a breakfast sandwich, but that would be about it.Parking: You park in a parking lot behind deli.

My ultimate go-to for hoagies and breakfast sandwiches! They don't sell fries, but they do have home fries.

6/21/23 Update... Just had one of the best corned beef and cheese sandwiches ?. I am posting a picture ?. I am never disappointed with anything that we order. ??.Previous post 8 months ago...We had subs for the first time from garrison's and they were great ?? taste really fresh and plenty of meat
