Shun Da - Neath

The most disgusting meal I have ever had! Shun da was the most amazing takeaway...don't know what has happened...I ordered pork dumplings..I had raw prawn dumplings with burned sauce! The food overall was greasy, salty and absolutely vile! Made me physical sick!! I will NEVER order from here again! Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30

Had amazing food from there tonight, very flavourful and an amazing portion size too, staff were all really friendly and welcoming and didn’t have to wait long either, highly recommend, I will be visiting again I won’t go anywhere else from now on! Been going to Shunda for at least 7 years, always good food and quick service but last nights meal was awful. Not sure if it’s changed ownership or if they’ve changed the chef but something has changed and Its not for the better. I ordered our usual meal and I noticed that the lady taking the order on the phone wasn’t the regular Chinese lady. I was told to collect in half hour, this seemed longer than normal because the Chinese lady that answers the phone normally says collect in 10mins. Anyway I arrived 35 minutes later and it wasn’t ready so I sat down in the waiting room for another 20 minutes before my order came out. That’s the first time that’s happened. Got the meal home and it was very different to our usual meal. The Roast pork fried rice was bland as was the chicken chow mein and the barbecue sauce was inedible, it was congealed, had a bitter taste and smelled burnt . This is such a shame as we’ve been going here for years but I think it’s time to try somewhere else now .
