Went for a beer and appetizer at Henrietta Red in Germantowntheir raw bar options have been on my radar for a while.

Our visit to Henrietta Red asks that old question, are we too food spoiled being from Chicago? When this question comes up the answer is always yes.

I can only give 4 stars because not completely vegan. wow, this place is incredible! local sources, full vegan menu with about 9 options. the chef, I say it, makes her own recipes. the apricot salad was unique and soou good (remember not to say a honey. the mushroom steak was different from what I ever had and I didn't want to finish it. even had vegan tiramisu! many good drinks. I found this place because of happy cow, so I thought I should leave an evaluation.

This is a creative menu with many veggie-based set. I had the mushroom steak with french fries and roasted. the vegetables included aubergines, fennel, okra and lemon. they were scattered in a tempura style vegan laundry. the meal was excellent and they were very good at taking up my vegan needs, for example olive oil for brot instead of butter.
