Contribuiți la feedbackVery cool and old school experience. Not a typical Broadway bar in the very best way. Relaxing, amazing drinks, awesome staff (Shout out Saul, Matt and Lucas). Extremely reasonably priced, particularly considering the time the spend on each cocktail. Pizzas are also great. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a less chaotic time in Nashville, or a really good drink for under 14 dollars (which is crazy considering the rest of the city).
I feel compelled to write this review, to help first time visitors to Nashville who have high expectations of this experience. My husband is an avid cigar smoker, so naturally Red Phone Booth was recommended to us. Beyond the allure of the “secret code” phone booth at the front, this place is underwhelming and overhyped. When we arrived the phone booth which requires the secret code was unfortunately broken which really is the most “fun” part of this place. When we calledh the number provided to us, the gentleman who greeted us was beyond rude. We were welcomed with a “who is the person calling!?” as there were several parties waiting outside and phoning that number. The fact that your phone booth isn’t working isn’t the fault of your customers as an establishment, the onus is on you to figure out how to let people in appropriately. After being relegated to the back of the establishment where no one else was seated, we waited for a significant time considering how empty the place was for a Friday night. When the server finally arrived, he informed us that we had to wait because the owner of the establishment had just arrived and he was hungry so he had to make him “rigatoni”. That’s just not something you say to customers who have been waiting to be served. The filtration system is also terrible considering how empty the place is. You would expect better from a place that is dedicated to the enjoyment of cigarsAll in all, don’t waste your time coming here. The appeal of the “secret code” is not worth the experience there are much better places to spend your time in Nashville
I don't like how this is plastered as a place to visit in Nashville. I didn't read any reviews or details on what this place is so that's my mistake however when making the walk to the intriguing phone booth, we were rudely greeted by a doorman who would not let us in due to it have been last call....5 minutes prior. We had friends inside (not members) who we asked to at least sit with and the doorman continued to say no due to last call and was just extremely pretentious. Later our friends us he was rude to them as well and told them he would let us in due to flip flops. He could have just explained that to us and been kinder about it. Unless you're a member, skip this place if your visiting Nashville. That's guy really put a damper on our night.
Getting inside was so much fun! The Phone booth entrance is a nice touch. We were sat next to an obnoxious and loud individual who almost ruined our night. Thank goodness the waitress was pleasant enough to move us. Although the establishment has wonderful drinks and service, they need to improve their humidifiers, the smell was stagnant and musty. Been to plenty of cigar bars in Miami that do not smell like this.Would come back for a drink at the bar and then move on.
Excellent service for a private party. I will certainly be back. The music was provided by an outside hire.
