Pemrose - Nashville

Girls travel and bday celebration and this place was phenomenal. From service to drinks to food. Can't say enough good things and not too expensive. Definitely check it out!!

The appetizers were juicy (wings, bread and caessalates). The water was perfect. I ordered the Teriyaki salmon. My 5 guests were blown away. The service was excellent and professional. One of the best secrets of the Gulch. I love it there.

My girlfriend and I had a reservation here the day after Valentine's day, which was on Saturday at 6:45pm. Of course, it was busy. We ordered and it took almost an hour to get our food. When it came out, it was cold. We sent it back and it was as if they put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. We told the server, but were disgusted and ate it because we were so hungry. The food did taste fairly well even lukewarm. The couple next to us had the same thing happen to them and the manager came over and comped their entire meal. After getting a full bill, we did get a free desert to share for our troubles. Wow! Also the portions are very small at Pemrose. We will not be back.

We tried Pemrose from a friend‘s opinion. I’m not a professional chef, but I cook all the time, and entertain. The SERVICE WAS PERFECT! Here are my issues, shrimp hush puppies (lacking shrimp and taste), tequila salmon (would never ever eat again), my wife’s lobster pasta perfect!! The oysters we had reminded minded me of New Brunswick, perfect!! The Chai cheesecake was awesome. Coffee was great and the drink selection was good.
