Contribuiți la feedbackEating is not bad at all. pizza good and carbonara passable. but the bill has not added. we decided to leave them, but don't type. the waiter, however, put us through a tipp by changing us and then somehow it looked like we agreed to change! we had no choice. the only way to not make a embarrassing scene. what we don't want to do on holiday. avoid
Ottimo ristorante di pesce in zona centrale. Vi suggerisco di non guardare solo il menù, ma di farvi consigliare i piatti del giorno. Prezzi nella media.
So we attempted to eat at another pizzeria that was recommended to us, but despite their listed hours saying they were open, we were denied entry. The entry at Pepe Nero was not as warm and inviting as I had hoped. They didn’t have one of the dishes that we wanted to eat and were recommended a beautiful looking seafood salad which was unfortunately unseasoned and had not much flavor to it. We then got the grilled prawns which was spectacular. We also got Margherita Pizza which was quite good. We finished the meal with a very good limoncello. The main hostess was standoffish but the service itself was quick and friendly. They also wouldn’t take credit cards which was off-putting for us and the other guests.
Pepe Nero makes the reputation of Napels come true! The host is Gino, cooking and serving, and telling you what the best food is. He told us to take the Cono del Pizzaiolo, which was the biggest surprise ever. Fresh ingredients, lively meat and top salad!! But actually the bistecca and fish was also delicious. One of those small unknown places, but sooooo good!!
Admittedly I came for a drink only but Gino who works here was so so friendly. On that basis I would recommend coming here for a drink!
