Contribuiți la feedbackI really cannot understand some of the more negative reviews here. We went, on recommendation from our B&B owners, and it was so good we went back 2 nights later with family. Much beloved by locals, especially residents of Posillipo, the district it's in. Take a taxi and be prepared for an interesting drive. Hidden roads, tight turns and incredible views out to sea. We booked early (by Neapolitan standards) the first time, as we were tired from travel, and found the entire team waiting for us outside. They greeted us warmly and we had a patio table. The menu was glorious. My first course was spaghetti vongole (clams) and my wife had some big langoustine like prawns. Very tasty. The second course for me was grilled octopus and Audrey had sea bass. Really delicious and the Neapolitans really know how to cook octopus to perfection. Greco di Tufo white wine (don't remember the brand). Service at just the right pace. By 8.30 pm it was full (on a weekday). We went back with our niece and her Italian boyfriend. He was raving about the quality of the food. They had laid out tables and lighting in the garden in the square very pretty. This time round a large dish of mixed antipasti for the table. After that, spaghetti vongole, risotto and more octopus. Stunning. If i lived there, I'd eat here twice a month (it's not cheap).
Cibo buono ma servizio pessimo, appena hanno sentito parlare una lingua che non fosse l'italiano: tutti i piatti ordinati portati allo stesso tempo (come se fosse un ristorante orientale) Good food but awkward service: as soon as they listen a language different from Italian, we have been treated quite badly. For instance, all our orders were served on the same moment, without any consideration for us.
We had a great evening here. When we arrived it was quite empty but soon filled up with other guests. I had green gnocchi which were delicious and then had carpaccio which was absolutely amazing. The focaccia they bring to the table is the best. Definitely worth a visit even though a bit far.
Simple and cozy place with notes features partenopee. simple fish cuisine but, at the same time, sublime: Neapolitan cuisine presented on typical dishes personalized by the restaurant. kindness and education. impeccable cleaning. excellent value for money not to be missed, in napoli!
