Al Caminetto - Napoli

4 adults tried 4 different pizzas, and house red for 40€ And worth every euro! The crust was perfect, the sauces tasty, and toppings delicious. The pizza maker and oven are right in the front so we watched the whole process. Staff was friendly, but not much English. Definitely not a tourist place!

Me and my friends visited this restaurant a couple of times while staying in Naples. Great little place ideally located near the funicular down to Mergellina. Upon arrival Roberto the host was very welcoming. The first visit was mid afternoon when only the pizzeria is open so we all sampled various pizzas and nobody was disappointed, I would say it was the best Pizza we had while in Naples! Then on the last night me and my friend went for an evening dinner when the restaurant is also open. We asked Roberto what he recommended and he asked the chef to dish up a couple of different dishes for 2 to share. The fresh seafood and pasta was incredible and a must try while in Naples. Also as it was our last night we were offered free limoncello and other local liqueurs to sample. This was a very nice touch and rounded off a great holiday in Naples. Thanks Roberto!

By far one of the best food experiences we had in Italy, and we have been to a lot of places. We were here today for New Years Day lunch and the waiter treated us like we were family. The food is spectacular and everything incredibly fresh. The seafood, from octopus to mussels to shrimps to fish, were as good as just caught from the sea. The pasta was as good as it can get in Italy, full of flavour and perfectly al dente. As a dessert we had a really fluffy and nice rhum baba and a great coffee. The price was so reasonable, we were really surprised when we got the bill. They only had a limited offer since it was one day after the New Years Eve celebrations but the waiter told us: Let me choose for you, the best we have from Napoli . And he didn 't disappoint. We will most definitely will be back here. I can recommend this place with my heart. Thank you Al Caminetto for treating us just like Italians who love food and not like tourist. Grazie mille!

I don't want to discuss with friends from the north, we'll miss each other, but it must be said that the real pizza is alone and only Neapolitan. Congratulations, pizza is good.
