Slyder's Tavern - Murlin Heights

It isn't fancy but is a solid place to grab something to eat and drink. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. The burger was first rate and the pork tenderloin was very enjoyable. Unfortunately, their cooler had recently broken and they weren't able to serve draft beer. Time to go old school.

This is a great spot to grab a burger and onion rings. I always have a good experience at Slyder's. The burgers are good sized, and remind me of homemade burgers from my childhood. The bartenders and servers take good care of you.

Voted best hamburgers in Dayton for a reason! The burgers are delicious. Don 't let the name Tavern stop your family from going .... I have seen young children eating dinner there many times. It 's also a great place to watch sports on the many TVs inside the restaurant. We go there at least once a month.

The burger was really good for a super unbeatable price. Even with upgrading our side, we still spent less than normal prices almost anywhere else. It did take a while to get our food, and there's no host stand so it was a little bit confusing trying to figure out who was supposed to seat us. Also, the parking situation is horrible, and though I know that's not the fault of the restaurant I still think it affected the experience overall. Now that I know what to expect, I am confident that I'll be coming back to enjoy good burgers, cold beers, and relaxed vibes ?
