Osteria Sarda - Muenchen

What a beautiful place. Super friendly staff. We tried some Sardinian specialties and wines. Everything was delicious, with care and beautifully presented. I can't wait to go back. Average 35 €.

If you visit Munich near the west side of the English garden, Osteria Sarda is a great small place for Italian dishes inspired by the food of Sardinia. I ordered the special: goldbassenfillet vom grill mit spargel ragout unter kartoffen und my wife ordered the scampi linguine. We both agreed that it was far above the average Italian fare. The European bass was grilled skin-on and initially seemed quite salty until I realized that the Sardinian style is to strongly analys the skin before the skin grills down. This makes the skin very crispy and salty, while the impractical aroma of collagen is added to the perfectly boiled fillet. The skin was like salty, crispy aromas that balanced the mild, flaky, white fillet. The asparagus ragout was almost my favorite element of dinner-flavorful and not overcooked. Best meal of our trip so far.

Super quality, how could I overlook the local bur the last two years? Anyone who has been to Sardinia feels very good here!
