Kyoto - Mount Airy

We went in 30 minutes before closing, they treated us as well as they had just opened! the sushi was amazing and fresh! will definitely go back!

Here is an honest review. If you want decent hibachi, this is your place. If you want decent sushi, do not come here. I ordered a $14 sushi roll and was in disbelief when it arrived at the table. It was the smallest portion of sushi I've ever seen. At any other sushi restaurant, I'd have only paid about $6 for this sushi. In 3 tiny bites, it was gone. Complete and total ripoff. If you want good sushi, go to Kazoku right up the road. Now, as I said, the hibachi was pretty good, but the white sauce is extremely watery and watered down.

Used to love this place, not going back again. They had decent sushi for a decent price. Went today and their menu prices jump to $19-$21 a roll like some high end places but it’s the same old menu. Way overpriced. Also when the bill came and I gave them my card, the bill said nothing about a $5 service fee. They just added that to my card without me knowing. I understand when the dining rooms were shut down for covid, but they’ve been open fully for over a year now. It’s time for that to go away, especially with their crazy prices for just average sushi. Disappointed.

The absolute best sushi in mount airy. You will not find better anywhere else. Amazing flavors, great service and a very relaxed atmosphere make for a ln excellent dining experience every time. This is the ONLY place that we will spend $80+ on a meal. It's well worth it and I never once regret spending my money here. Mt. Fuji, Deep Fried Philly, Kyoto Roll, Yummy Yummy roll and the Crunchy roll are our favorites!!

Not a great fan of sushi but gave a try.. cooked (Fried) sushi was hot and good, and no raw smell
