I can honestly say that my expectations have been met. that was great. the service was on the spot. the atmosphere was relaxed. I will stop mikey’s when I am in the opposite.
Nothing fancy but great great gyros and what's more important than that after all? I would surely go again. Plenty of space for social distancing. They also have so great art to look over. Thumbs-up!
Plain amazing food. Will eat there again and again. Nice quick service. The deluxe gyros are huge. Baklava is perfect with a nice strong honey flavor.
Absolutely inconsistent quality. I ask for extra onions and I end up with a gyro nearly empty. This has happend on more than one occasion. Cheap meat also. Looks like some sort of cheap processed imitation meat pumped out of a tube. In fact, I think it's imitation meat. I'll bet the owner will lie and say this does not happen and that the meat is real. Inside of the place is cheap, dingy, and rundown. They use a chap microwave to heat things. People are given cheap cups to get water with from an even cheaper water pitcher. Place is where stupid people meet Such a filthy and cheap place, much like the people who serve the food. The employees are poor, just look at their filthy clothes. I'll bet the employees hide when someone they know walks in, total place of embarrassment to work.
Not the traditional Chicago style Gyro I like. They have their own recipe for the sauce. Too much lettuce and a few pieces were old.
