The Town Tavern - Morganton

The best way to enjoy this restuarant is start by walking down the Catawba greenway and enjoying the views of the Catawba river. You can easily stop here and have a quick bite or drink before continuing. Great pub fair food, with beautiful views. Unwind with a drink at the bar and enjoy some fresh air by sitting outside.

Today was our first visit since arriving in Morganton over a month ago. We went in for lunch and were seated quite promptly and ordered our drinks. After thoroughly reviewing the menu, we ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with peppers/onions/mushrooms (hold the jalapeños) and sides of Pasta Salad and Potato Salad. All was very delicious. I will point out that the potato salad has more of a mustard flavor, which is quite alright by me, as opposed to a mayo

Incredible location, great food, and friendly service. When we arrived based on the number of cars in the parking lot, on a Saturday evening, I assumed we would have to wait but we were immediately seated. We were seat near the riverwalk. Wife had the cheeseburger wrap and fries, and I had the Mushroom Garlic Swiss Burger with tots. We both really enjoyed our meals, and can't wait to go back.

First time going and had a great experience. Went on a busy Friday afternoon for lunch. Was seated immediately, waitress was fast, attentive and very friendly. Food was fresh, hot and came out fairly quick. My husband had the meatball sub and I had the Buffalo chicken wrap both served with French fries. Both were GREAT! We ate every last bite. Other people around us seemed to be having a good time as well. We will for sure be back to try some of the other menu items.

Ww stopped in Town Tavern for lunch on a Tuesday. We ordered the nachos and the fish and chips. The gosh and Chios were good. The fried fish was still moist and delicious. The. Aches has lettuce on them which I normally would rather it not buy otherwise was good. The view of the river is amazing. They have lots of tvs throughout the pub. The menu had numerous other things I would like to try in future visits. Overall great experience.
