Cracked Pepper Brasserie and Bar

We visited this restaurant for drinks and found it to be a great place to people-watch. The menu and drink selection were excellent, as was the service.

Sitting in the Winter sun we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Good hot coffee, fluffy pancakes and bacon and eggs on Turkish bread were our choices. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

This upsets me to write a bad review because I have been going to this cafe on a regular basis for approximately 8 months. I have always found the food fantastic and the service very friendly and helpful. But something has changed, the staff are different and I would say indifferent.... My first time that I noticed that things were different was a few weeks ago where myself and a friend went for breakfast..... I got pancakes with a large coffee and I was charged $33! When I questioned it I just got a shrug of the shoulder from the young man and was told that was the price.... After vowing to boycott the place I finally went back yesterday just for a coffee..... I ordered a mug of latte with zymel milk extra hot.. After receiving my warm coffee I drank it and immediately had to go to the toilet. (was the correct milk was used) I asked for the key to the bathroom. When I got back my table had been cleared and someone else was sitting there. I told the waitress that I hadn't finished and was told that there were plenty of tables and I could have a glass of water, no apologies.. And then I got charged $6! For a mug of warm coffee! I questioned it and was told of the $1 surcharge for the milk! Seriously $6! Whatever is happening at cracked pepper has taken it from a friendly welcoming local to an indifferent expensive hold up!

Awsome food great coffee excellent location. Great prices 5 star Loved it and will be back. Had Eggs Benedict and my daughter had the omelette..OMG the food was amazing..

Amazing service, excellent food and amazing coffeeMy family was recently in Mooloolaba for a little get away and we came across this great little restaurant for breakfast. The Veg Stack was AMAZING, we actually made a point of going back for a second time before our holiday came to an end.
