Nourriture assez mauvais, prix trop élevé, les personels ne sont pas acceuillant et ne maitrisent pas leur métier. a déconseiller. eat pretty bad, price too high, personal are not welcome and not master their crafts, they do not speak English neither French only Chinese! not taken

It may be a bit difficult find out there.Location is the lake side of the underpass of west side of Montreux rail station.It was Spanish tapas restairant before.Now, name may be changed.The taste is natural Chinese.Price is good.A problem is that they have a Karaoke, sometime young people are singing.It would be noisy to eat and talk.But it is not always.

Located almost beneath the railway station, this small bar restaurant doesn't get a lot of daylight, and the decor is a little dark and glum, however the chatter and laughter of the regulars prevent it from feeling gloomy.The menu offers a variety of dishes, both Middle-Eastern (I believe the owners originate from Lebanon) and Swiss dishes: tabbouleh and papet vaudois are two of the offerings I've seen on the daily specials lunch menu, which is excellent value at only CHF17.Service is very friendly and efficient.I've had the tabbouleh as a starter once and it was fresh and delicious. An asparagus tartlet and a salad of chicory, walnuts and mimolette cheese were more ordinary - I could have produced a better version of these.For mains, I've had excellent steak and chips, with the meat cooked exactly as requested; a flavoursome, but slightly oversalted rosemary roasted lamb; and salt pork with lentils exactly the way my grandmother used to make it.Overall, honest home cooking in a welcoming locale steps away from my office, so I'll be back.
