I was greeted by a wonderfully manicured garden and a breathtaking view of the ruins of a castle. Speaking with the owner Davide (family run restaurant), I asked him to put together a meal that would knock my socks off. Well Davide didn't let me down! I tried a variety of dishes from the region and I have to say, this restaurant really impressed me. I have travelled that region of Italy many times and had the opportunity to eat at various restaurants. Nothing comes close to Villa Toneatti! The service was wonderful, the main dishes were superb and the desserts (made by Davide's daughters) were simple but mouth watering. The next time I travel that part of the world, I will go out of my way to experience Villa Toneatti once again. Please be aware, they are only open for Friday dinner, Saturday Lunch/Dinner and Sunday Lunch, so plan accordingly. Enjoy!
This restaurant, tucked away in Via Garibaldi rightly deserves it's place as the Number 1 restaurant in the area . This family run business has really got it right in terms of ambience , service and above all an excellent menu of high quality dishes all made with local produce. A wonderfully light dining room is staffed by young staff who would not be out of place in a 5 star hotel . Friendly, professional and immaculately dressed. There is a menu degustation and an ordinary menu with a small but excellent choice of dishes. The quality of presentation and standard of cooking is very high indeed. If you are looking for a quality restaurant which will welcome you , make you feel special and wake up your taste buds with delicious local recipes than look no further. Highly recommended
