Cantina Le Cimate - MONTEFALCO

We thoroughly enjoyed the morning here. We would highly recommend booking a wine tasting and tour. The owner is very enthusiastic and committed to developing the local wine.

Meeting the family that run this small winery was wonderful. The tasting and the accompanying food and talk were great. Would definitely recommend a visit to this place.

We were hosted by Le Cimate in the Spring; I took a group of my University seniors, studying business at The American University of Rome. We had a fabulous lunch, with pairings of delicious dishes with a variety of Le Cimate's wines. The owner spoke with us about the joys and challenges of managing a lively, growing, entrepreneurial wine business. The facility is beautiful, the tour of the vineyard was very interesting, and we had a chance to stock up on the Cantina's wines at great prices. Highly recommend a visit!

Le Cimate is a wonderful, family-run winery that blends excellent wine and food, genuine hospitality, and beautiful scenery. Paolo and his family are warm hosts and a visit here will certainly be a highlight to anyone's visit to Umbria and Italy.

We had a marvellous evening with young proprietor taking us around vinery and the whole family taking care of service for the dinner. A meal well worth to remember. Need to improve the signs for access for visitors.
