Lulu’s Artisanal Cafe - Montclair

A friend and I had lunch at Lulu's recently, the barbecue jackfruit sandwich and salmon with collard greens and quinoa and we were both wowed by it. We loved that everything is so fresh and cooked right then, so worth the wait. And the flavors were fantastic. We'll be back to try more things on the menu.

The cinnabun is the best thing I have ever tasted in my life I could eat a million of them and the lemon bar was so so good. THE LEMONADE WAS PERFECT. I also got the kale bowl and it tasted amazing, the vegetables were so flavorful and warm and well seasoned it made me so happy. The staff were so sweet and accommodating and the shop itself is really cute 1000000/10 recommend :

Yummy small business with lots of flavor and choices! I had the bbq jackfruit sandwich which came with plantain chips and the most delicious coleslaw. I also had a vegan coconut cupcake. I am so happy with that lunch and will be back to try more. They had vegan, vegetarian gluten free and carnivore diet options.

It took an hour for my takeout order to be ready. The guy kept saying 10 more minutes, ok just 5 more minutes until it had been an hour. No idea how this place is in business. Food is average at best and service is horrendous. You couldn’t pay me to go back.

Lemonade bottles got smaller since the last time I got one. Shrinkflation I guess…It would be easier if the labels on the bottles stated the flavors because I won’t remember next time.
