Down Inn is an excellent place to stay. The food is delicious at reasonable prices. The stff is very friendly, helpful, always smiling and everything was Hakuna matata. We were there with 3 children, they enjoyed the food, the pool, the beach. We felt safe and relaxed. It is located in Jambiani village where you can feel the truly Zanzibar african atmosphere. You can meet many locals in their daily routine, children go to school, ladies harvest... At night on the beach is very lively. We liked it very much.

I stayed at Dhow Inn for 8 nights and it truly exceeded my expectations. It’s conveniently located, really close to the beautiful sand beach. The staff made my stay completely carefree, because everyone was very polite and helpful. Truly a clean and well organized place. I send my kindest compliments to the chef, as the food variety was a mix of African and international cusine, perfect for anyone willing to try something new while still staying in their comfort zone. I wholeheartedly recommend Dhow Inn for anyone visiting Zanzibar.
